- Finance Transformation: Opportunity to Adoption
The challenge
Growth and acquisitions had left finance running on a patchwork of applications and local processes across 52 business entities. Each acquisition added more systems, more manual work and more cost.
Illustrative. More than 20 applications and their infrastructure were retired across 52 entities.
Our approach
Transformation across people, process, technology and control:
- Technology: led the Oracle EBS portfolio across Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and consolidation, including seven end-to-end deployments. Retired more than 20 applications and their infrastructure.
- Process: moved four acquired businesses onto the standard ERP stack and migrated their operations into the shared services centre.
- People: restructured shared services around global process ownership, reducing process overheads across geographies.
- Control: standardised processes and controls on a single template, simplifying audit and reporting.
- 52entities on one finance model
- 7end-to-end ERP deployments
- 4acquisitions integrated
- 20+applications retired
The outcome
- 20+ applications and their infrastructure retired
- Four acquisitions integrated onto the standard ERP and shared services, realising around 1.6 million in savings
- A simpler, standardised finance operating model with clear global process ownership
